I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with an emphasis in voice and violin from Idaho State University. I taught public-school music at all levels – elementary through high school – and maintained private studios in Idaho and Montana. I served as director of the University of Montana Suzuki Strings program and Suzuki Institute.
In addition to my private studio in Wisconsin, I formed an area Suzuki group and orchestra, taught at various Suzuki workshops and summer institutes, organized the Northwest Wisconsin Suzuki Festival, and was a frequent performer in the community.
Now living in Salt Lake City with my husband, Todd, I have been an active member and officer in the Utah Suzuki Association and performer with various orchestras and ensembles. Maintaining a private studio of 50 students has given me many opportunities for composing and arranging music.
